My name is Roberta Morucci and my mission is to draw you a picture. In school, I was that kid that seemed to never be paying attention. Seemingly in my own world of doodles and drawings. I’ve had a pencil in my hand since I was in diapers. Things never change. I’m no longer in diapers, though. To pay my tuition fees at International School of Comics, I worked in a grocery store. We needed a no smoking sign. I was told to write it. I drew it. That was the moment when my boss told me that the grocery store was not the right place for me and that I had to work exclusively on my true calling: drawing.
